Wedding Day Makeup

Your face is going to be in the spotlight on your wedding day, and looking your best will give you the confidence to shine. But “looking your best” shouldn’t mean looking like someone else, especially not for an event that celebrates your life and your passions!

I will work with you to create a look that is YOU – your style, your personality, your flair, for your day (or night). Not normally a makeup wearer, but want to look flawless on film? I’m known for my light touch that brings out the best of your natural beauty and enhances your features without overwhelming your face. But if you love to bring the drama, I will find just the right balance of colour and contour to make sure you knock ‘em dead!

What Happens On your Trial

I try to advise that all brides have a make-up trial at least 6/8 weeks before their wedding date. The trial is also a great time for you to discuss your wedding dress design, hair style, colour scheme, timings and how you would like to look on your big day.

By having a make up trial I can ensure you are happy about the make up, check for any sensitivity on the skin and test the durability of the make up before the wedding day. Please feel free to bring photos or magazine clippings of anything to do with the wedding and ideas for makeup, we can then discus these further to create your perfect look.

Please note that all trials are to be held at my home in Hednesford, staffordshire but i'm more than happy to travel to you for added travel cost.

What Happens On the Wedding Day?

I will ensure I am with you at the location in good time.

By this point I will have already devised a schedule of timings to ensure that the preparations run smoothly and are stress-free.

When I arrive on the wedding day I will require a clear space, a table for my kit, and preferably in an area of the room with good lighting.

Make-up for the bride on the wedding day will approximately take 1 hour and depending on their chosen look, bridesmaids, mother of the bride etc. can take anywhere from half an hour to an hour on the day.

I always aim to finish the Bridal party an hour before they need to leave and during that last hour I am able to stay for any last minute touch-ups.

Should you require me to stay until the reception I am able to do this where I can create a bespoke package for you.
